BUT THEY DID NOT KNOW MY VOICE

This work is a natural continuum of my enquiry about narrative, visual and mental interpretation, as well as my enduring passion for the voice.
This work takes its fabric from literature passages all concerned with art. They are cut, deconstructed, reassembled and composed, to eventually form a weaving of texts, creating interference and intrusion from one story to another, one voice to another, one rhythm to another. These compositions are declaimed, whispered, or sung by a chorus a cappella. The resulting collision of words and voices oscillates between the intricacy of meaning and the emotional vocal sound.
