ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

October 2007, Your Memory of An Art Work, City of London School for Girls, U.K

Have you ever stood next to someone in a gallery and wondered what they were thinking about an art work? How does the passing of time affect your recollection of an art work?

Come and be part of an art work to investigate these questions. Sit in the booth and tell us your memory of an art work that has stayed with you.

2007, Women History Memory Society, City of London School for Girls, U.K

This is a project which focuses on personal history, women’s history and memories.

Objects, domestic and personal can be repositories of memories. Memories may be shared by a society, family, or be purely personal or an individual experience. They can also be evidence of a lifestyle, clues to the way our mothers, aunts, grandmothers used to live. Fashions in clothing, interiors, products are constantly changing, as well as technology shaping experience and radically changing lives.
